I wanted to put a plug in for a favorite product and thought a picture of two of my favorite girls would be in order. Here you see a picture of my younger daughter and Bev’s younger one. “Auntie Nee,” as she is affectionately known to Bev’s girls, is always ready to have fun and cuddle with her two nieces and do they ever love her! She goes frequently to stay over at their house and I do believe they think she is a part time member of their household.

These girls, my daughter and granddaughter–one leaving the precious girlhood days and one who, God willing, will enter them in the not too distant future–are a reminder to me of how critical those years are. I have decided to stay here at WordPress, at least for now. There is quite a bit of information telling us what to do, so maybe I can handle it. So even though this site is still under construction, as of today I am making it the official blog site for Speakable Gifts. Please bear with me as I try to figure it all out. I have not been able to understand the directions for design and layout (there are a huge number of them), so I will stick with one of the standard templates for now. Maybe in the future when I am more adventurous I will fool around with all that html and css stuff. It won’t be very soon–too much else is going on in my life.
