Affiliates and a Giveaway!
Did you know that Speakable Gifts is an affiliate of three organizations whom we know and trust? You probably didn’t, so we’re telling you now! The three companies are Amazon, Christianbook, and DaySpring. What this means is that we have partnered with these companies so that we may provide links to products that we recommend or to special deals at their websites and we receive a commission if you happen to purchase something after clicking over. It doesn’t have to be the particular item we recommend, but if you were to buy something within twenty-four hours at Amazon, four hours at Christianbook, or ninety days at DaySpring we would get credit for the referral.
If you know us, you know how much we love to help people give Christian gifts, and we feel this is just another way to accomplish that. These three organizations all have plenty of good Christian literature and gifts that you would like having for yourself and for your gift giving. Our newest partnership is with DaySpring, and to celebrate that……we’re having another giveaway! And needless to say, it will be one of DaySpring’s gift items, a framed wall art with the message of Micah 6:8, a favorite of many of us. Here is a quick peek:

You can find out more about it here:

How do you enter?
1. Just make a comment to this post. And while you’re at it, let us know if you would like to have it for your own home or will be saving it to give as a gift. We’re just curious.
2. If you want your name put in again, link back to this post from your blog. Then comment again to tell us you did.
3. AND, as an added bonus, we have another small gift (click here to see it!) for the first person to order from DaySpring or Christianbook after clicking from our website page. You would have to be the first to email us and tell us so. You can buy whatever you want. Remember, though, you would have to actually place an order after clicking on one of the affiliate links on our home page or special offers page. Actually, it would be a win/win situation: You get a nice Christian product, we get a commission, and you MAY even get an extra gift (if you’re first).
We’re not sure how long we’ll keep this giveaway open; we’ll see how it goes. Sure do appreciate your working with us!
Note: This giveaway is only open to people living in the continental US. Thanks!
UPDATE: Drawing will be on Monday, March 1, 2010.

I absolutely love anything Day Star and that is so lovely. I would probably give it as a gift, because I have received so many lovely items for my little home already. Also, because I love to be able to bless others and on a limited retirement income that is not always possible financially.
Appreciate your heart, Maxine, and all you do and your special wisdom and insight.

thanks maxine for letting me know about the give-away and now the info on dayspring.
i love the art piece and even though it would make a wonderful gift, i’d probably keep it for myself because i’m taking an extra bedroom and making it into “my” room (mostly for scrapbooking). this would look great on my mostly blank walls.

Oh, that is so beautiful! I actually don’t know whether I would keep it or give it away… I know plenty of people that I would love to bless with this, but I also have several walls in desperate need of SOMETHING on them, even though I’ve been living in this house for over 3 years!
Thanks for the chance to win!

Thank you, Maxine, for letting me know about this. I haven’t been blogging much lately, and it was nice to hear from you! I love and use all 3 affiliates you are with, and I will check Speakable Gifts often for gifts and recommendations.
I may keep this beautiful gift, although if the Lord puts it on my heart to give away, I’ll be happy to share.

Thank you for letting me know about this, Maxine! What a beautiful wall hanging with one of my favorite scriptures! I think I would actually hang this in my own home……unless God directed me to bless someone else with it!:)

Thanks, Maxine, for visiting my blog and for the nice comments you write! I am encouraged each time I read your blog. Thanks, too, for telling my about this giveaway. I haven’t visited Speakablegifts before, but I will now. I am starting to see the value of online shopping and am using it more and more.
If I win this giveaway I will hang this picture in my craft room so that I can see it whenever I am making cards or scapbooking. All of the pictures in the room are framed in black frames so this will look nice!
God bless-

Count me Maxine. What a nice gift. Not sure if I’d keep it or bless someone else.
Thanks so very much♥

That is lovely – I would love to keep it, but I would be very likely to give it away as a gift at one of our Homeschool Support Group Meetings. We are a new group this year and the ladies love it when I do a “door prize”. This is a very uplifting gift as well. MeritK
PS – posted this link on my FB after I saw your note in Christian Blog and podcast’s Yahoo group. Hope it helps

I would probably keep it to hang in my home, as I find I need to surround myself in His word right now.
Thanks for the opportunity to enter.

I think this is a lovely item that would work either in my home (that scripture is a favorite of mine as well) or a nice gift. Thanks for having such a nice giveaway.
